When a global pandemic hit the world in 2020 and everyone on the planet was forced into a lockdown, an idea grew about talking to record collectors about their collections. Reaching out to vinyl enthusiasts on Instagram, I talked to 50 collectors about why vinyl records are so special to them and why they are so addicted to collecting vinyl!
 
Snippets of these interviews have been shared online but I can now announce that all interviews will be shared, in full, with over 700 colour photographs in a must have, 450 page coffee table book.
 
Volume 2
 
Following the success of World Records: Conversations With Record Collectors: Volume One in 2021, there was repeated questions to myself on whether there would be a follow up book.  The demmand was evidently there so I am pleased to announce the follow up collection of interviews collated together in another 450 page coffee table book.
 
Speaking to another 50 collectors across the world, I dug into why they bought the vinyl format we love so much and where they bought those fantastic pieces of wax. Once again, Instagram formed the backbone of the project and where the collectors were found but this time, there are special features on record shops across the world also.
 
Due out in May 2024, the book is A4 size (exactly the same format as Volume 1) and features over 700 images from collections from as far and wide as Columbia, Australia, India and all across Europe and North America. 
 
The books will be printed on soft touch 150gsm silk paper with a laminated soft touch cover.
